You would need to check with GDE. The tune restricts the need to recirculate exhaust Gases back to EGR/Plenum. GDE uses in head EGR tuning to lower NOx to EPA tier 3 Levels.
6969, I have used Banks bullet from My 2015 that's the same power adder as the Derringer, You won't need the Pedal monster with the Bullet, it wakes the 3.0 up nicely $200.00 Plus $15.00 Shipping, I will promise it will work or refund Plus shipping on return.

All VM 3.0 are Hero's or Zero's, None commissioned 3.0s seem to do Well only in HWY Use. OEM COC on HWY use do OK l also. Regardless of mods to the 3.0VM the QC/Puking is inherited risk all owners need to prepare for. $5-8K+ so if your willing to take the risk make sure you have this amount for...
wjengle, I dis-agree with the the failure, when the Pump gear slips it cause upper engine timing destruction, Valves run into pistons and 5 seconds later it BOOM, no metal shaving would be found in the sump it would be BIG pieces, it failed just like 10,000+ other 3.0VM fail rotating mass...
Keep in mind that's OEM only......

I'm With biodiesel, move on. Yes any engine can be scan for changes outside of OEM Programming. Its unlikely that any Dealer Tech would volunteer to investigate on his Dime.
The Fuel Rail sensor Is $120.00 and 1 Hr Book Time.... I have them in stock.. $800.00 is crazy... the sensor is easily checked VIA WITECH.
Spider I suggest you move on .... its the curse of the VM3.0... (What's a CPM?)
1st get rid of the sound foam, Maybe that will help in locating the leak, The lift and feed lines travel on driver side TOP of engine to distribution/transition block along driver side rail down the back to tank.
