That's right. If it's that full for an engine light to come on, most likely it's almost stopped up.

A sticker on a ECM isn't going to save a warranty. They can and will pull the file to see if it's been modified. On the GM's, a certain checksum(?) can be set to OEM parameters to match what they have set. That is immoral.. modifying something and then making your mark to say it's not been...
