Welcome to the site Ray! Let us know what the dealer tells you.. I would be scared myself knowing the truck could lose all power with a risk of getting run over.
TS Performance did some dyno testing yesterday around the GDE hot tune with the TS Performance Stryker installed on top of it. Intital testing showed a 40HP increase with the Stryker installed on top of the tuning.
As long as it meets the specs, it SHOULD be fine. However, since you have one more oil change within the warranty.. I would probably just bite the bullet if you're worried they would question something.
Otherwise, run them. I've not seen those filters mentioned here yet though.
I agree. Unless the filter head is warped and it's not making a good seal...or the filter is just defective (not a good seal, etc). Not much else that can be wrong.
From what I've seen here on on our facebook page, usually they put in a new motor and then the dealer just sends the old one back and usually the customer doesn't know what happen to it.
If you're still under warranty, I would fully expect a new motor.
We're all different here. A lot of folks are bone stock and want to keep it that way, and others want the max power and really don't care about warranty. But, the good thing around that is everyone benefits from that here. Which is the point of the forum.
