Take a look at the large plug under drivers side on the inside of the frame rail. They’re a weak spot for poor connections. Pull apart and dielectric grease it

Pretty sure the plate that it goes to can be unbolted and flipped over for access to the plugs

Did they reflash your ecm for tone ring failure or replace it? Depending on what code was for, would be if it’s covered or not.

Have you had all the recalls done? Did the check engine light come on?

Check under your truck, the three bolt flange rusts and comes apart.

Depends on the tune you choose, right now, I’d suggest you check for boost leaks or clean your map sensor as a start. The egr dumps soot all over it.

I called 2/3 dealers for pricing and was suprised at cost differences. One sold a bundle while another sold individually priced items. Deff no consistency in pricing. But a lot of guys run aftermarket controllers and rant and rave over it. Anything is bettter than nothing!!!

He’s having issues with them not coming on and starting rough, not nessasarily an indicator issue. seems like it’s a glitch in the tune or the module is on the fritz

Mine was on passenger side fender by ecm. Easy to swap

I never had a problem with the glow plugs firing but I do have the hiccup issue occasionally. Mostly if I don’t give it more than a 5 minute warmup it’ll do it when I’m boosting up the driveway hill or shortly after pulling out of the driveway under boost. Not sure if it’s an overboost situation...

Did you have it plugged in? I’m unaware as mine is a 2014 and I have refused to visit the dealer as it typically leaves worse than when I brought it in. They may be able to do an ecm/pcm reflash if there’s an issue. Yours has a security gateway module so you can check codes but not clear them...

Check the large plug on the frame rail on the driver side inner frame rail. They get dirty/ poor connections and can cause crazy issues.

Sometimes mine acts silly in the colder weather. Typically once I get engine temp to 60 or so it all goes back to normal. These trucks are known to glitch sometimes.
