I usually have really good luck with Amazon, and they almost never mess up twice in a roll. Some tough luck for sure.. But, yea anytime you're in a hurry to get something done it almost never works out in my experience.
Now hopefully the diesel tech is experienced with this engine (probably not, since it's still so new) and can properly reinstall everything.
A long block doesn't have all the electrical and fuel system components. That always worries me as a engine factory is a controlled environment that...
I didn't think of the pump not being under the emissions warranty.. but, it's a key part of keeping the trucks emissions "clean". I would fight that.. give Ram customer service a call and see what they say.

Overall, they are good trucks. Some folks will never have a problem. It would be nice if we did know why some engines are failing but it's hush hush from Ram for now.. or at least no one has been told what's going on and reported it.
Maintain the truck like the manual states...

I'm not aware of any members that have posted they're from Alaska, but theres a chance someone here has the experience. With that said, the guys from Canada doesn't seem to have a problem so far with extremely cold temps.
