Yes, any emissions removal would require the proper tuning. A few companies out there do it. One being PPEI.com and GDE (Green Diesel Engineering).
What are your driving habits? If you drive in the city a lot and never get up to highway speeds the truck doesn't have a chance to burn...

I've had that same thought process. But, thinking more and more about it I feel like after warranty it's going to be cheaper to let the DPF "fall off" and buy the necessary tuner then to replace the factory emissions system. I know on the bigger disesls that system is upwards of $3000 dollars...
Welcome Bobby! The EcoDiesel doesn't have two filters. The Cummins engine does in the 2500/3500 series trucks.
