As far as tuning, good tuning that will REALLY make a difference will probably void your powertrain warranty...

Well, after having a fully deleted Duramax truck I would say it does make a huge difference on that truck.. on these, only time will tell. With the laws getting worse for removing emissions and the EPA getting tougher, I wouldn't do it unless it called for it (IE Repairs or something else critical).

The forum has taken off pretty well considering how new the EcoDiesels are. I'm here because I like EcoDiesels just as much as you, hence why I spend a lot my free time trying to make this place better.
Granted, the member base is still pretty low here. I feel it's a great start, and the...
1) Diesels hold their value much better, and a lot of times because of the finance rate it pays to pay 2-4 more thousand for a new one. Plus, it's new! :D
2) Finding a used EcoDiesel was pretty tough awhile back ago because of how new they were.
That 60 month thing..yes, it makes you think about skipping that new truck. I sure thought about when buying new.
Good GM story, I've had may GM trucks that never gave me any problems.
