They do, and they only cover the upper half of the grill. It is enough to help in the summer get to operating temp seconds faster, and decrease drag fractionally but it is not enough to counteract full winter temperatures.
That isn't causing failure persay, it introduces the oil/coolant sludge into the engine and the dealership cannot really flush it out properly, a very tedious process that seems to often result in engine replacement because of inability to remove oil contaminants from the cooling system. But...
Ok as many people know there are adjustable air suspension links manufactured by "adjustable air ride" manufactured for our trucks, which is a good product but it's $299USD.
I'm planning to build some custom adjustable links over the next few weeks and I am wondering if there is any market for...
You wouldn't believe it but if I recall it is like a 12 hour job to do a glow plug as you have to drop the entire engine/lift the Body off of the frame
Absolutely the best way to do it! I had a switch ran to the interior at one point as well, for those that do not know what Mal did there is he removed the studded plug for the clutch pedal (2x10mm nuts on the cabin side if I recall) and bored a hole to mount a boot for a passthrough.
I have stainless grill covers that fit each individual panel, I cover the lower once it stays below 40 or so and leave them on, the active shutters only cover the top half, once it's below 10 or so degrees consistently I cover the top half, though an 80mph freeway commute for 2+ hours did merit...
Gaskets on the water pump and thermostat aren't very big deals, it's a lot better fate than most issues, and with a lift you're obviously going to lose MPG beyond epa rating, as with traveling 75-80mph. No vehicle gets ideal economy at that speed. Aggressive tires lost me near 5mpg alone, and I...
If you pull up the plastic shroud that's clipped to the passenger side fender from the radiator, it will be behind the passenger headlight housing if you have a factory installed Cable. No tools just pull the plastic and the one pin will pull through and you should find it
Very easy. Mopar brand Filters from eBay or dieselFiltersonline.com a little over 30$, don't use an aftermarket for the fuel system. As stated there's some videos if necessary. It's pretty tight I have I strap wrench for full size fuel Filters that fits it perfectly.
I'll second @flying7 I use Google maps on phone or tablet but sometimes the bigger screen is nice. More populated areas than my rural little town it works alright, but ETA times are usually inaccurate due to unregistered speeds. That's a little annoying. The one good part to it is the Nav is a...
