Probably fixed by now. I just had the same problem on my 2016 eco. Put some cardboard on the ground to catch a bit of oil. bought my sensor from aftermarket supplier. sized the deep socket with new sensor. Came out easy and installed the new sensor quickly with minimal oil loss. Code cleared and...
Don't know if it would be related but check the wiring plug under the truck located near the drivers seat. It gets a lot of spray from the front tires. Clean the outside, open the lock and look for damaged wires, connector pins or corrosion. AllData diy manual on line for $20cdn might help
Bought a 2016 Laramie Longhorn in 2018, eco diesel. Beautiful truck however it came with air suspension which I had to delete due to cold weather issues. At 105,000kms I did a full delete. Truck has been great until now.
