2.5 in level- new noise from suspension

Installed a 2.5 in leveling shocks on my eco and since then I heard a thud when the surface in driving on has a sudden drop. Also speed bumps at low speed create the sound as well. I’ve got under the truck and looked for any evidence of metal on metal contact but I can’t find anything.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I didn’t. They don’t look like they’re at a bad angle but that’s next on my list to replace. Not too expensive and easy install. Hopefully it fixed the problem.

I only ask because I had a similar issue with my 2015 RAM. I installed 2.5” Bilstein 5100’s and wound up having to buy aftermarket control arms because of that “thumping” sound. The shop I was going to at the time said the ball joints were taking a beating.

No worries! I actually ordered the Ready Lift UC Control Arms from Custom Offsets a couple years back. They are about $350-500, if I remember correctly. Little pricey but worth the money IMHO
