Living in Minnesota and after a few years with the truck I just got the block heater cord put on. In the mean time just reciently I got the flashing message ‘diesel preheat in progress...’ I’ve seen some say glow plugs could be the culprit or possibly a bad connection. For the last few days I have been cycling the start start mode without starting it... maybe 3 or 4 times... has not flashed since, are the glow P’s as much of a pain as they were on my GMC 6.5?

They are worst and Break off and take out the engine. PITR to remove in most cases.
