2014 EcoDiesel DEF and Turbo issues

My mother in laws 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel shows 2 messages. DEF filter 100% full and Service Electronic Throttle Control and I’m trying to figure what I need to do to fix it. My buddy thinks that the DEF filter being completely full is keeping the Turbo from engaging

Mine is doing the same thing, I've tried doing the Regen with the Alfa but it's been regenning for 45 minutes now and the throttle control light just keeps flashing like it's not letting it perform correctly.

I had throttle control warning, first dealer said turbo was shot, $5000 replacement. Fortunately limped it home to my local dealer, they fixed it for $800, can’t remember exactly what they did, sorry, I’m not at home with the paperwork now. Good lduh, hope you get it resolved.

That's a common problem if there's over 150,000 miles. When the service light is on the truck cannot Regen. I just had to have the throttle valve replaced. Once that was done the truck was able to regen and my service light has been off. $198,000 miles and it's running good now. The other problem over $150,000 miles is a reluctor ring replacement. Just an FYI. Need to have somebody run the codes. I had the same service light problem show but different codes were obtained once plugged into the computer.
