2014 Ram 1500 Laramie Ecodiesel

Hi everyone, New to the group. Just had a check engine light come on then off and on again. I brought it back to the dealer i bought it from used. And they said it was the NOX system or filter - said it was half full? Said they cleaned it out and no more code. Also how often are you changing oil? 8000? How often are you changing transmission fluid 30000?
I love the truck!!! Just new to them and have a few questions.

8000 is a little long the more u change it the longer it will last read the owners manual its all in there buy a code reader so u can read the codes yourself or take it to autozone to get the codes read
