I have a 2015 Ram EcoDiesel with 95,000 miles. 85,000 miles no problems, then I had the FCA Emissions Modification. Like most of the comments I have read, the performance and fuel mileage went downhill to the point I am no longer satisfied. Last week on a trip the check engine light came on with a message the electronic throttle control needs service. I made it home but could only pull some of the hills in the flint hills at 65 mph. I have an appointment with the dealer next Tuesday. I am concerned that they really have not taken everything into account in their reprogramming. In combustion calculations there is a balance between carbon and NOX emmissions. You have to have enough oxygen (air) to support complete combustion. To much air adds to the NOX emissions. Not enough air adds to the carbon emissions. I think they detuned the turbocharger so now we have lost performance and they are assured of meeting the NOX standards. I would like to know how much they reduced the NOX emissions. I am guessing the increased fuel consumption probably adds more NOX to the atmosphere. I am wondering if anyone has tried the Diesel Domination Promodules. I like Sofa King tunning, but don't want to have to go back to the current tunning everytime I have to take it in for service. However the only thing I had to do the first 85,000 miles was change the oil and fuel filters.
