My check engine light came on has a code of P26AB or engine coolant bypass valve. It comes on randomly and goes off and on. Will this be covered under the new warranty settlement for the Ecodiesel ? I bought it new in September of 2017 and it currently has 44,000 miles on it. I called my dealer and they have no clue as to what the settlement covers. They said I probably no more about it than they do. He said to call an 800 number to ask them Do any of you have this phone number?

I don't think the 3 way coolant valve is part of the emissions control system. There are videos at youtube of how to replace it. You can check the resistance in the valve to verify it is going out. $185.00 for the part. Here it is at Mopar parts giant.

Thanks. The dealer wanted $273.50 plus tax and labor to replace it. The you tube video makes it look really easy to fix
