My 2016 Ram was hard to start and running bad. I took it to dealer for the recall to update the PCM. They did the update and told me my reluctor wheel was bad.
I took the truck home and ran the codes it gave me a P0336 Crank sensor.
I pulled the trans and replaced the wheel and sensor. Now the truck will only start with the crank sensor unplugged. after the truck is running, I can plug the crank sensor in and the truck will stay running. With the crank sensor plugged in i do not get any codes. when i unplug it I get the 0336 code. Any idea what I am missing.

I’m thinking throttle valve maybe. Or swirl valves in intake. That’s just my intuition off the top of my head. It sounds like everything is good, they’re just not communicating with each other. You might just need to take it to the dealer and have them flash the ecm again.
