Hi and glad to be part of the forum - big fan of diesel in general and looking to but a 2017 Ram Eco Diesel - CarMax is bringing it to our area to test drive.

It has 68,000 miles. Looking to review some posts and ask for any suggestions for specific items to check for and ask about while in the purchasing phase?

Also - my brothers friend had one and did had a re-tune from Green Diesel. Does anyone have experience with this and is it a good thing to do and could it mess up any remaining warranty (if any)?

Many (including myself) will tell you that an engine tune is mandatory on these vehicles. Yes, the tune has the potential to mess up your warranty but most of the tunes are removable and replaceable and therefore undetectable to any dealer.
You will find hours of reading on this forum regarding the use of a tune in the Eco Diesel that should give you an idea of your options!
