Looks great, very clean install! I love how they sit flush under the rocker..Looks really good.

How hard was the install?

Hey thanks. They met my expectations and my wife & kids love em so well worth it.

Install was a lil more time consuming then what I expected. Ran into a couple different problems.

One being AMP "just learned" these trucks need to relocate a wiring harness under the drivers side door. Supposedly the bracket is on its way. I just zipped it up outta the way for now.

Second thing being was it was a real pain getting the trigger wires through the firewall main harness. I ended up using a 12" length of 1/4" ID pipe to feed them through, then just pulled the pipe. There is zero room behind battery and fuse box on firewall so I went from the inside out.

Instructions were very solid. Did find they called for 19mm when it's really 13mm in one instance tho. And a couple steps I'd do a lil different.

Customer support was good as well. Overall the product is excellent and I'm glad I tackled it. Now I know the in/outs of it.

Awesome! I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Make sure they include the relocation bracket for the harness by drivers side motor. You can easily fab one up but it'd be nice to have it already.

They stay pretty clean of road debris. Your feet will dirty them up more then anything.

i found out if you remove the fuse block next to battery it gives you access to firewall it just slides out ,push it towards driver fender side (very easy) and lets you route the trigger wires to obd2 port, and install controller.i also ordered an obd2 y cable $15.00 on ebay it give you an extra obd2 port i'll post a pic when it shows and when you route passenger side harness stay to the out side of the frame to stay away from exhaust

Very nice.

If you haven't went through the firewall yet, here's a tip: using a razor, cut a 1/2" slit on both inside and out. Then find a small dia. pipe (1/4"id) x 12" to use to slide through the rubber boot. Next push your wires through, then pull the pipe out.

finished. turned out nice, only problem was i had to shim out the front bracket on both sides, step was hitting pinch weld lip, not by much but just clicking it, anyway i used one of the insert brackets to shim it out, only required two rear brackets to inserted, so i had two extra.....(obd2y) is slick as it leaves you an obd2 port for what ever you need it for... also amp research offers a $100 rebate mail in upc code off box. we'll see if they follow through i'v been stung by those before.. these step are top shelf quality

Very nice. Clean install as well. Worth every penny IMO.

Mine clipped too, but I just kind of popped the steps free then hopped on them to seat properly. No problems.
