Are the small diesels the future of efficiency ?

Interesting report from the Chicago Tribune..

A quote from Kelly Blue Book: "“In our analysis, consumers today are interested in more horsepower and better fuel economy,” says the director of residual values at KBB."

I completely agree with that statement. A diesel powered automobile will sell higher than the gas counterpart from my personal experiences.

That is one thing that is bringing me to buy the ecodiesel instead of the hemi motor. If it holds it's value better it would be a better option for me.
