I have a 2015 ecodiesel ram bighorn latest problem was a dead battery replaced the battery still had battery issue. Replaced the alternator that was only showing 9v output, now truck says it's low battery and also shows 13 volts what gives? This isn't an intermittent issue it's always the same. I did have the truck deleted at about 200k miles but it's at 280k now so that shouldn't be the issue did have Trans issue just had new filter and flush that seems to of fixed that dealer originally said Trans issue was caused by low voltage when alternator went out and needed Trans flashed but that didn't fix it. Everything else seems fine just this battery light on and warning everytime I start the truck.

I believe there’s a current sensor on the battery that could be bad, there’s also a fuse if I recall that can impact it. Orrrr it could be a bad ground /connection somewhere
