Best year for ecodiesel

Hello, i am in a market for a new truck

What is the best year of the ecodiesel engine, i know some had main or rod bearing issues and cam sprockets shearing

I usually tow aproximately 3000lbs

On ocasion 10000lbs (5 times a year)

Came from a 2500 sierra duramax, would a ecodiesel be able to handle these loads reliably?

3K Yes.... 10K NO, Buy a Cummins or another D-Max, Are you aware that Ram is discontinuing its 1/2 DSL?... I don't like Ram's 68RFE in the 2500s, The Aisin is ONLY available in the 3500 Ram.... I know of CC 3500+ with 500K miles on Aisin/Cummins combo with only normal repairs and Maintenance.
