Was driving on highway lost power smoke and a puddle of oil under truck was wondering if a high pressure fuel pump could lead to blown motor

The HPFP would not cause a blown motor.

Is there any value left in the truck with blown motor would a dealer still take it as a trade in or should I try and sell privately

I have no idea. There have been several with the same problem as you. Maybe they will chime in. Or you could do a search
