Hey fellow members of an unpopular club!
2018 Ram Eco
24,5xx camshaft blows apart. Holes 8n oil Pan and lock (I was told). Took about 2.5 mos to get thru red tape to get new motor. Less than a month after getting truck back, the following issues occured:
1. Total power disconnect. No lights no start no dash lights. Hour later, it starts.
2. Slow roll over speed bump, truck jumps out of gear, gear selector lights start blinking,windshield wipers one on. Message to stop, put in park.
3. Limp mode while driving with no warning lights.
When locking, horn like a strangled goose. Lights barely flash.
4. Reversing from parking spot, truck slams into gear. Gear selector lights flashing.
5. While driving, voltage jumps from 11v, 12v and 3v.
6. Truck idles roughly
7. Battery Saver Mode
8. Service engine light
9. Key fob intermittently works. Truck still sounds like strangled duck
10. Android-Auto glitchy. Disconnects from phone or won't recognize.
11. GPS delayed or won't work.
12. Knocking sound when steering wheel is turned side to side.
Couple weeks later....... All problems go away. Nothing since besides truck is louder.
Anyone else experience this?
