Has anyone had any experience with replacing entire Eco-Diesel engine?
Where could I order one?

FCA doesn't have great support for EcoDiesel, in case in the future they stop supporting it, would be great to have a supply for engines. I am sure there will be also a market to refurbish EcoDiesels. I suspect new crate engine is $5k++

Any thoughts?

The most economical route is to find one from a lower mileage wreck.. sites like car-part.com is a good resource.

Newer motors are much more than that.. some have reporting upwards of almost 15K for a brand new engine.

This complete engine from Mopar is cheaper than all the wrecking yard engines ive seen ironically.. https://moparpowertrain.com/product/5158048af-3-0l-eco-diesel-complete-running-engine/ and it comes with a 3year/100k warranty.

You can check ebay now yourself but most wanted 7-9k for engines in wrecked trucks which is nuts but a good indicator of how in demand these engines are due to the very high failure rate... even mopar often seems to have them backordered as they do now.

Wow.. the dealers are upcharging them (imagine that). I forgot one member posted a outrageous amount a few months ago after quoting his dealer for a entire replacement.
