Good morning everyone, I have a 2015 eco diesel that’s been in the shop for a few months and they told me it needs a new DEF pump, they wanted to charge me about 1600 for parts and labor. Well i found a part online for 300 and i think im just going to try and figure it out. Has anyone had a similar issue and have any tips before i get started?

For that kind of money just do a delete, I wish I had deleted mine on day one, no def, more power, no lag, cooler temps, no regen nonsense. I’ve got 217k on mine and going strong.

What company did you go with for your delete?

I have the same truck, I had my def replaced and they could not get anything to pressure up. $1700.00 later, truck still not fixed. So I had spent the money and had def completely removed. Truck has been great since.

If you’re decent with hand tools, all the parts bolt off / bolt on. Tuners can email back and forth the required files once you buy their handheld devices.
