DEF system

Good morning! I just to bring up an issue I had with my 2016. At about 120 kms my DEF line from the reservoir and the DEF injector had to be replaced because the last two bolts in the muffler had rusted out and the raw exhaust gasses were melting the line and injector. the dealership mechanic told me "oh yeah, that's a known design problem, we fix a couple of those every month". Chrysler customer service flatly denied knowing about this as an ongoing issue and said "tough luck, you're out of warranty". So, if/while you're still under warranty every time you get service make them put your truck on a hoist and check those bolts. The repair cost me $2,400.00.

u r in Canada ? for about 1.200 u could have tuned it and eliminated the dpf and def tank welcome 2 the group
