Eco diesel engine talk

I lost the engine in my truckat 127,000 mi and have installed a new one and i have been told that i need to take it to utah and have the cam gears pinned so I don’t break another crankshaft any truth in that?

No surprise to me on the Failure, There are million of Pumps with same design no problems, if its correctly TQ it will not come loose, That being said its easily removed and can remove the CP4 and check the TQ on Both Cam and Shaft.

How do you know your engine with the victim of cam gear failure, Details Please?
