Eco diesel problems

My wife's Eco diesel at 37000 made a noise like a tire blowing out and engine stalled and won't start
 
Does it still turn over or did it put a rod thru the block?
 
Rockyvan, Who was driving to give such a vague description. My guess is its lockup and done ,you will be joining the 10,000+ puked 3.0VMs.
