Ecodiesel cooling issues

think I know the issue but need to know for sure if there is a separate thermostat from the 3way coolant valve?

Yes, the question is ,what's the relationship to cooling do modern day thermo- regulators have with Heating/Cooling problems?

This engine (3.0) in extreme use will over heat, simply Put! pushed beyond its intended limits :( . It was designed to operate in 3200LBS Cars.

Its ,Turbo, EGR, Exhaust, Cooling, Lubing, Plenum are NOT forgiving, Push it passed X limit, it fails over heats, pukes or burns down.
