EcoDiesel startup...

Hello! I bought a 2018 EcoDiesel about six months ago with 48k miles. We just had the engine replaced due to failure because of low oil pressure. My question though is about glow plugs. The whole time we’ve owned it only once was the starting delayed. We’ve had several days with freezing temperatures since the engine replacement. The glow plug light comes on along with all the other dash lights with two key clicke or turns but goes out along with all the others and never has a delayed start, even in freezing temps. Is this an issue or just how it is? We have a Cummins diesel that usually has to warm up.

Glow plug are entirely different then Grid Heaters like the Cummins Have, Wait to Start is Not necessary in modern Day DSL's when above 0F.
Florida does Not ever get cold enough to Need Glow plugs or Grid/Intake Heater. Yes you're system is behaving normal.

On My Cummins I don't even allow the Heaters to engage (Pre-Start) Due to The Grid-heater blot failures 6.7L, unless its below 0F, I jump in , Step on the Brake and Push start, it stumbles for a few seconds and then runs Normal, the Grid heaters cycle, but air is moving threw the Intake so the Bolt never gets hot enough to fail.
