Ecoguard Oil Filter No Oil Pressure

Used an Ecoguard oil filter and had no oil pressure. Went to the dealer and got a Mopar filter and it worked fine. Guess I'll be using Mopar filters.

Very odd as others have used them with success. Do you have any idea why?

No. I think the filter depresses a valve to let the oil flow. I'll be using Mopar filters in the future.

I have used MOPAR and MANN (which by the way is the manufacturer of MOPAR brand filters) and WIX. I have had no issues with any in my ED. I did have a no oil pressure issue with a WIX in a KIA, replaced filter with new WIX with no further issue, bad filter.

Same here, no problems so far with ecoguard filters.
