I have a 2017 EcoDiesel ram. Had the egr recall and 2 days later truck says “exhaust filter 100% full and service throttle control”. Took it back to dealer they performed a Regen then they took it for a test drive. According to them, it was running great and then just died. Dealer towed it back to shop. Told me the engine was ruined. Just trying to get my ducks in a row. Since they were driving it, they should replace the engine, not me. It is still under warranty. Thoughts anyone

All 2014-19 all powerplants 3.0s manufactured in 2014-17. Now if your engine has puke, spun Bearing(s) like 10,000 + 3.0VM have (And Still counting) your replacement will have the same risk. The engine is NOW out of production and FIAT is dumping the engine's (3.0) removed under warranty to retail buyers. My recommendation Family use is a ticking BOMB, The Fires, Puking, Tone ring, turbo, HG problems (Just to mention a few) the 3.0VM needs to be replaced by honorable powerplant.
