Hello All!

I’m about 90% finished with my full delete. I go to remove the EGR tube from behind the engine annnddd...I sheer a bolt...is there anything wrong with slapping a gasket and plate on the end of the EGR tube? Or do you have to remove it?44CE6D4C-F6D4-4F48-93A1-B5855B171FB6.jpeg

I would try to get the old bolt out or drill and get a nut on the backside. Heat and pressure will fatigue it eventually.

Yeah...I figured as much. I’m going to Dremel a slot in the bolt and use a flat head. Thanks!

I believe the gasket and plate is fine as long as you can rig=up a support bracket for the tube.
