Where can I find defect codes for my 2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab? The check engine light came on last night as I was making a right turn. It came on a day before but was off the next morning. It's still on now. I have a code reader but have no idea what the codes mean

This is weird. I got the code reader, went out and started the truck. No error message. The engine light was OFF? Any ideas about why this is happening? Twice in three days.

I didn't clear it. When I went out and started the truck, the engine light was off! I didn't even plug in the code reader.

I'll update if and when it comes on again. I've got the reader in the truck so I'll get the code as soon as the light comes back on.

I also received the recall for the EGR/coolant issue. They said there was no fix yet, to just keep an eye on my coolant level. So far, so good. Are ALL of them failing or just some?

if u have no problems what do u need warranty 4 did the same thing 2 a 2500 with a Cummins never been to a dealer
