Engine light came on

Hi there, just wondering why the engine light came on in my truck, it's a 2018 Laramie Eco-diesel with 56000km Only time that came on before, was last winter in a -30C morning (I forgot to connect the engine block heater). Dealer said that it was a possible condensation on top of the engine.They cleared the code. It's been an awesome truck with no issues at all. Any ideas. Thanks

Without a code reader to read the code it could be anything. Stop by an auto parts store and have them read it to get you started with a code then you can start troubleshooting!

Well, this morning the light was gone so I had no time to put a scanner on. Last night when the light was on, I went for a 30k drive at highway speed so, I think that it is the same as last winter, moisture in the top of the engine due short trips and not letting the engine to reach the normal temperature. What do you think guys, it make sense?

Mine will occasionally throw a P04db for crank case tube disconnected if I’m pulling a trailer and the rpms bog for more than 2 seconds due to my bigger tires. It’ll reset on its own.

Typically the code will be stored and you can retrieve it with a scan tool if you want to.
