Truck Year
2018
Hey everyone, 1st post to this site and seeing if anyone has any ideas for help. I have a 2018 ram exodiesel and started having issues the day before Thanksgiving. Truck has 162000 miles and has been well maintained. After leaving work, drove to grocery store and parked. Truck was running fine. Went to leave a head home, started truck up and it had rough idle only around 500rpm and would stutter and act like it was out off fuel. 1/2 full on tank. Gas pedal was null and void. I could press the pedal and no response from engine. Had to get truck towed home and started digging into it. Fuel pressure from lift pump shows 63, fuel rail pressure is around 8700-9500 at idle. Sounds like starter is getting stuck when starting truck now, and battery voltage drops if truck left sitting and not running. Oil pressure shows 0 on lie o meter dash the same time starter started acting up. Pulled filter, cut out media, and pressed out oil. No metal in filter. Dropped oil drain pan, all clean and clear on pick up tube and inside pan. The truck will start everytime but and one time it sounded fine and went above 700rpm at idle but then starts to struggle and still no foot pedal.
