Hi I’m Johns I have a 2016 Ram EcoDiesel Longhorn love it but I always worry about the regeneration am I driving enough or what . I have had to have it towed 3 times before I learned my lesson but I have a question how long can your truck sit and idle before there is a problem?

im not sure but i dont think that the idle time is the issue. i think its due to stop and go driving. I have the green diesel program in mine and i noticed that when my wife uses the truck for shopping and around town errands we seem to be doing regens more often . the program lets me know when a regen is needed

I get that sometimes I get in the truck and on the screen says 80percent full so then I have to go for a drive it’s frustrating
