FIAT pursuing a GM merger

Interesting, according to the article FIAT pushed hard back in 2008. But, for now it still seems like a long shot.

I'm not sure how I would feel about this. Could you imaging going to buy a new GM truck with a 3.0L EcoDiesel?

Just seems weird!

I'm not a fan of that to be honest. Let FCA run the 3.0s & hopefully GM will step it up with a midsize diesel for their half tons. I like them having separate identities. It creates good competition. This, 'if ya can't beat em, just buy em' attitude drives me insane.

And good for Barra & GM basically telling Marchi to take a hike lol.
