hi guys just bought my first RAM unit, a 2016 Laramie in crystal grey metallic.
so far only have about 600km on it, so far I am a huge fan.
I have always been a diesel driver.
past unit was
diesel 87 Datsun
diesel 07 Cherokee
diesel 11 Silverado
diesel 15 Cruze (currently)
diesel 16 RAM (currently)
chev(Silverado) left a bad taste in my mouth with electrical issues again and again on my duramax, so I am hoping RAM will serve me a little better.
live in alberta, so it gets pretty cold up here, so far only issue I have had with the truck is trying to install a battery blanket. I cant tell you how hard that was to fit in such a tight space. but somehow I managed to wrap it around, and still keep the factory blanket over as well....
I did order a NOCO power plug for the front to mount an external capped plug in the winter time.... otherwise, this unit will be staying factory.
