I had a check engine light and took in to dealer, they emailed back Gas in my Diesel.
No Way I fueled at a Diesel Only island. Has this crap happened to anyone else?

How long ago was it before you filled up? Usually if it happen 24 hours out from you finding out you had gas in your tank, go back to that same pump and pump out 5 gals, have it checked. If at fault, make the station pay!

Check out snapshot of gas station All the gas only pumps were in front, in back was a Diesel only lanes for diesel cars and 18 wheelers. There is NO WAY i got gas in my fuel from HERE.
I drove 180 miles back home that night at 75MPH before taking it to the Dealership next morning. The EcoDiesel had a Throttle Body code. My question is: has anyone else had a Dealership refuse warranty claim due to bad fuel or gas in your Diesel

I've seen it posted here a few times were the dealer said they had gas in their fuel, and I would agree.. I think you would of had issues since you drove it that far. Now, it's your word against the dealers.

. Yes, if I can prove the dealership put gas in my tank to void warranty coverage, my next call will be to my attorney.

I went to dealer and got a sample of the fuel from feed line to high pressure pump. It has a large amount of gas in it, you can smell strong vapors of gas, diesel smells like oil.

If my insurance does not cover the repair, I plan to get it tested for ratio of diesel to gasoline cost $500 for test.
Jar of left is sample, one on right is diesel, I understand a diesel engine will run with a small amount of gas mixed in, but I've heard of people filling up with gas by mistake and truck won't run 1/2 mile before shutting down

Exactly, today a company came by to install a gutter on our house, he said took Isuzu Truck to dealer and told him the same thing, gas in diesel, he went to another dealer and it was fine.
My Insurance company took sample from Fuel Injector rail, Waiting to see next week how that tests

Fuel settles to the bottom which is ĺikely why you would have got so far and it wouldn't be the first station to accidentally have gas put into the diesel tank

The last fuel up was at Exxon and previous a Pilot Truck stop, both were DIESEL ONLY island 100 yards or more away from GAS pumps

If the delivery truck has the wrong product in the compartment that the driver thinks is diesel then he will still put it in that diesel tank if it's more than a hundred yards away!

What ever the case may be I didn't drive almost almost 700 miles and 2 fill ups in a single day on bad fuel. The I still think the Jeep Ram dealership put gas in my tank to void warranty on Eco Diesel

The whole truth is a went to pick up ecodiesel after Bosch CP4 pump bombed, Dealer replaced HP pump, fuel rail and injectors but repair ticket dot not list flushing return line or cleaning fuel tank and new fuel filters. I'm bet metal in tank got back to injectors and THAT's why FCA won't pay for 2nd repair

Hope everyone is doing safe . UPDATE, Geico took fuel sample and test came back "only diesel" no gas, Also report stated ferrous metal larger than 10uM. Now were back to FCA replacing the entire fuel system and both fuel pumps under warranty
