Happy “Brand New” Ecodiesel Owner

Just purchased a 2018 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel Laramie that only had 102 miles on it. The seller was living in Hawaii and bought it as a leftover in February 2019. Long story short his move has been delayed several times, and he sold me the truck. I’m extremely happy with it.
For 2018 is there anything I should be looking out for. It’s still under the factory warranty and also has the extended warranty.
I’m going to get an oil change very soon just to be cautious because it sat for 18 Months. Any specific oil you guys are using that you like?
I look forward to many years with this truck.

What extended Warranty, 2017-19 do NOT qualify for AEM warranty. You have the 3/36k Bumper to bumper, that will end somewhere between Jan-Dec 2021 depending on in service date, Same go's for the 5/100K Miles. Jan-Dec 2023.

So you have no history for 18 Months? if it Puke's ( Like 10,000+ other VM 3.0s 2014-19) You may be holding the $$$$$

Great looking truck, (love the color.) I think most are running Shell Rotella T6 5 w 40.
Look into an aftermarket tune to increase your owner satisfaction long term. That is really super low mileage!

In service date was Feb 2019, so the factory warranty is good through February 2022. Original owner purchased additional extended warranty that was transferred to me. I know the history of the past 18 months. It was delivered from NC on a flat bed in March of 2019 with 102 miles on the clock from the owners word and from the BOL from the delivery service. Truck was started occasionally by the neighbor.

The source's of the track were Buyer's that ordered late 2016 3.0, These Buyer's had VIN #s and paper work on vehicle Status Some waited for Months after promises unfulfilled. Sources that had physical present at Warren stated NO 3.0s 1500s were produce in 2017- through mid 2018.

Anyone can check Vin#s I have Vin#s that buyers shared with Me and others early 2017 that Now have 2018 designation.....
