Has anyone tried to use SeaFoam to clean the intake manifold runners instead of taking the whole thing apart?

I know I need to replace the intake manifold, or at least take it apart and clean it, but I really don't want to. I'll probably have to pay someone to replace it and then delete the EGR so I don't do this again. Was just curious if anyone has tried seafoam first and if it could cause some serious issues possibly breaking up that soot.
