Hello all, thanks for adding me to the group.
I just purchased a 2017 Ram 1500 Eco Diesel with 74k miles. I cannot add DEF to the DEF tank, it backs up in the filler neck. Is there a typical blockage or does the neck break down and block it?
Need help figuring it out. Thanks.

Not that I’m aware of unfortunately. It’s relatively easy to drop the tank, and was able to disconnect the house without any fancy tools

You may be able to pull the fender liner and access it that way

If you're trying to fill it at a service station pump, forget it. I have had a 2015 and now a 2020 and it simply will not take it fast enough from a pump. The only way I can get it in is to buy the 2 1/2 gal cardboard boxes and pour it in manually. Poor design.
