Hello. I’m new here. I am the original owner of a 2014 ED Laramie. 3yrs away from retiring from the Navy, almost done paying off my truck and ready to buy a TT.
I’ve read a lot of negative comments about the ED and was seriously considering trading her in for a used 2500 until I came across a few posts by VernDiesel and his success with towing using his ED. So, thanks Vern! I‘VW decided to stick it out, start with a mild non-delete tune and see what happens.
My ED has a little over 93k on it, got all the recalls done, so she runs like crap compared to before. Had about $7k worth of warranty word done last year to deal with DEF causing check engine light. I think they even replaced the DEF tank. Other than that, I love my RAM. She’s the first vehicle I bought brand new and I’d like to keep her around.
