Impact of emissions fix for settlement

Does anyone know how the “fix” you have to have done to the emissions programming to receive the $$ from the settlement will affect fuel economy?

the '17 and 18' models already have it as it is what they were sold with. It is not a ton different but some people say the '17 and '18 get lower mileage on the highway. They also have the same issues of EGR soot and the EGR cooler failures.

Thanks; I have not heard anything about the 17/18 models... do you know what the highway mileage figures are?... is it substantially less than the 29/30 I get now?
