45,567 mileage - intercooler replaced on recall at around 43,000 - oil changes and mfgr recommended service only - no missing parts known

OK, My guess is the MAP sensor needs to be cleaned, and the Plenum is sooted Up Maybe the swirl valves are sticking.

IC replaced on Re-call , are you sure, never heard of that.
