One other thing, I think the MPG hit comes more from the pcm flash for the transmission Shift points and higher rpm cruise requirements than it does from the oil viscosity. If not more than at least equal parts
my driving is all 70 and 75 mph on the same roads. I drive with cruise control and all my driving is getting up to highway and setting the cruise for 60 to 100 miles depending on where I go. It was definitely when I changed to Rotella. One of my questions is.... Rotella is a heck of a lot cheaper than the euro Penz., so are the oil changes going to go down???

Only for the DIYers.

Back to the matter at hand here; I think pushing for a new brain box would be the best option now

I will ask. How do you like your HID conversion. You would think for 63k we would get good HID headlights.
I will post what I find out next week. I do know they replaced a wireless ign. module. The dealer says they can only do what star tells them.

I hope they are changing the oil cooler to a more traditional and reliable style. And I hope they recall and retrofit.

I can see on EBAY:

50,000 cases of Penz. Euro for one money. OEM had a change of heart and returned 50,000 cases of Penz. and now we are liquidating it.

My HID's are fantastic. Enlight made a real quality system. There is only one downfall. It is a harness powered system and that means there's a signal from the drivers side headlamp to switch on the relay and in turn both Headlamps. Well when a deer tried to hurdle my Hood and wiped out my headlamp it killed both my low beams. I could've messed with it and made it work I guess but I ended up just having to drive with the single bright.

I've ran into the No Key FOB on other FCA Vehicles, the solution was to Delete ALL Keys re-flash the RFM and program the keys again, YOU must have the PIN for the VIN to program the keys. In addition ,The batteries are tricky in some FOBs.

On the lube costing mileage its NOT measureable at Lube temps above 100F, We dyno our 1700HP pulling motor at the expense of X oil company They paid for the Freshen up and the Dyno & labor, the 5/10-30/40w showed NO loss, the 15/40w was 6-10HP ,20/50W was 16-18 and straight 50w was 19-21HP loss.
Many stations have switch to Winter Blend form Summer Clear #2 in Oct.

I will advise them next week. I think tho, they have already done it. But it does not hurt to ask.

Stormcom I doubt they preform it Because its time consuming and FCA won't pay for it unless the RFM is replaced

It was our SS/3.6 Diesel motor, the company just wanted to test the Lube. and they took samples all day, they had a trailer outside with $$$$$ of equipment for testing , real nice setup.

Andrew has a twin turbo 600HP 3.0 ED going strong on OE rotating mass.

Yeah lol nobody getting 1700hp off this engine.

@TC Diesel look at @stormcom introduction and see that there are serious electrical issues beyond the key fob which is why I point my finger at the control module

That's Likely on the Module...

Back in 2011 (Charger) When the Keyless Start/enter was released the Wife left the car Running with the KeyFob in her burse, it lock itself and the Push button on the door handle would NOT unlock the Door, I was 1.5 Hrs away and had to bring the Key. to unlock the door. Dodge replace the Door handle 3 Times and the module once in 2011 before it worked correctly again.

Are you referring to the RF module now or the Body control module after reading over his electrical nightmare introduction?
