Low oil

Okay I just changed the oil on my 16 ram rotella t6 I bought the three gallons I know the ram take 10.5 quarts but my truck is showing low I guess my question is do I use all three gallon there is half the last gallon left

It is usually just a hair short of 11 quarts with the filter. I would put in 10.8 quarts, run the engine, then check it on level ground. I would not put in all three gallons. Overfilling can cause oil to foam.
