If you go to the additives section, it basically points out that oil stabilizers are designed to separate your money from you. Sea foam is a cleaner and about the only thing I use to do periodic cleaning before a change. A good synthetic IE rotella, delo, penzoil are all you really need. ALso I don't use fram filters because they are mostly hype. I use NAPA or Wix

FWIW The owners manual diesel supplement states:

Materials Added To Engine Oil

The manufacturer strongly recommends against the addition
of any additives (other than leak detection dyes) to
the engine oil. Engine oil is an engineered product and its
performance may be impaired by supplemental additives.

Here's the caution:
"Engine oil is an engineered product and its performance may be impaired by supplemental additives."
Most of today's oil additives do not impair, change or modify the oil. For example, here's what Archoil has to say about their nano technology based oil additive (that does not modify the oil).
  • Increases power and response
  • Reduces friction and provides anti-wear, extreme pressure and anti-corrosion protection
  • Reduces engine noise and vibration
  • Protects engine during cold starts
  • Cleans and prevents sludge/varnish deposits
  • Extends oil drain intervals
  • Fixes HEUI injector problems (Power Stroke and others)

If I had a ford with HEUI I would probably use it. otherwise not necessary IMO.

Yep - a must to preclude stiction in Ford HEUIs. It even stops/cures stiction in the HEUIs.
