Mopar oil filter equivalent

I am completely blown away by the cost of the Mopar oil filter. But I just found out about an aftermarket filter... the Ecogard S11880. Has anyone tried one of these things? Amazon has them for $27.52, which is about half of the best price I can find on the OEM filter. I am seriously thinking of giving this a try.

That won't work on the Gen 3 engines. The new oil filter is all-in-one, you can't replace just the element any more. New part # 68507598AA
